Sobre Nina

I have always been passionate about holistic health and physical activity.
I have been practicing yoga and pilates for 10 years, and in 2015 I took my teacher education so that I could take the step further to teach others and share with others the wonderful opportunities yoga offers.

I have taken 1 year of study in physiotherapy. Trained spiritual dharma coach and I am an Ayurvedic practicioner

I practice Ayurvedic health principles, which is a natural system of medicine that originated in India and has been around for more than 3000 years. The term ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). This is a method that has helped me find balance in the body and that I would like to share with others to help others get in their right balance. Ayurveda focuses on the fact that not all types of nutrition and exercise are right for everyone. Simplicity depends on what kind of body type you have, what your body should digest and not.

Yoga and Ayurveda are two sides of the same coin. Ayurveda is practiced based on the belief that in our natural state there is a healthy balance between body and mind. This can become unbalanced via, for example, poor exercise habits, or poor nutrition. Yoga is a great tool to help get your body back to its natural balance and together we will find your right balance.

Hi.
My name is Nina and I am from Norway. I am an experienced teacher and have been teaching over the last 8 years with certtification within VInyasa, Hatha and Yin. (I also work with healing trauma and yoga nidra).

Within yoga and my background, the main focus is on Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin yoga. Here we adapt and adapt the yoga sessions to what you need. We focus on connecting breath and movement together, to get in touch with our own body, in our natural balance and better shape with strength, balance and flexibility.

Within Yin and therapeutic yoga, this is a more restorative form of yoga.
While "yang" yoga focuses more on the muscles and strength, yin yoga targets deeper connective tissues, such as the fascia, ligaments, joints and bones. It is slower and more meditative, which gives room to turn inward and calm both thoughts and the body's physical experiences. Because you hold bags for a longer period of time than in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you to stretch and lengthen the rarely used tissues, while you learn how to breathe through discomfort and to sit with your mind.

I believe that all diseases have a root in something.
By balancing the body with the right yoga exercise, the right nutrition and the right lifestyle for each individual, a lot has been done.

In private lessons, you will receive individual guidance that will help you move forward in your yoga practice. I want to be your guide and motivator for you to find your personal practice.

You get help with everything from getting started with yoga to setting up individual yoga programs for you.
For example, to repair an injury, lose weight or to balance body and soul.

For one hour I am with you all the time and make sure that every position and movement is carried out optimally for you. Initially, I will do a needs analysis, i ask about relevant background, any injuries and diseases, goals and wishes you have with the benefit of your yoga practice.

The benefits of taking private or group lessons are that you will receive full attention to yourself, your needs and your yoga practice. You will receive advice and tips tailored to your needs, your body and your health needs.

If you are a beginner and have never been to a yoga mat before, if you are stiff and need to work with flexibility or strength, or if you have practiced yoga before and want to develop and find your asana (practice) if you want. I also travel around and hold private lessons, for those who for various reasons want to practice at home. Yoga is for everyone, and anyone can do it. Together we find what you need and want for you to get the most out of what yoga has to offer.
