Born in Ecuador, raised partly by the internet, and currently puzzling over why Portuguese people insist on closing every restaurant at 3pm. I'm Roberto 21 years old, a native Spanish speaker who has somehow lived in more countries than most diplomats, and I genuinely believe that learning a language and understanding world politics are basically the same skill: both require you to sit with confusion, ask uncomfortable questions, and accept that you will sound ridiculous for a while.
Teaching Spanish isn't something I stumbled into it's something I chose, more than once. The experience that shaped me most was working at an NGO in Spain with migrant women and workers who came to class and with almost no Spanish. Watching them reach their A1 level and tell me they'd found better jobs, that they finally felt included that's the kind of result that makes this more than a class. That's what I'm here to try to replicate with every student.

My classes are for people who want to actually speak Spanish not just conjugate verbs in a vacuum. We'll talk about real things:
- Latin American history,
-why Ecuador is lowkey one of the most interesting geopolitical stories you've never heard,
-immigration (speaking from experience),
and other random things to give u real flow in the talks u have in ur travels or with yours latin friends and about food. I've cooked in kitchens from Andalucía to London, and I'm convinced that learning a language over a recipe lands way better than learning it over a textbook and also in the Latin meatings traditioaaly Unless you speak u can help in the kitchen
I've lived in Portugal, Andalucía, Zaragoza, Italy, and London, with Tenerife next on the list so if you've ever wanted a Spanish tutor who has personally experienced culture shock in five different flavours, here I am.
