Lydia taught my teenage daughter who has attention deficit. She was excellent. Lydia was reliable and went with the flow, finding teaching opportunities with every distraction while still keeping it fun. My daughter normally detests tutoring or structured learning of any kind. But she liked Lydia and her lessons. She even got her to do virtual lessons which was amazing. I was so happy that my daughter was learning in a positive environment. My daughter was able to say a few phrases and understand some things within just a few lessons. We would have continued if my daughter didn’t start Portuguese lessons at school. I would highly recommend.

Lydia is a wonderful Portuguese teacher. As a native English speaker, the language is naturally challenging for me, but she knows exactly how to navigate it. Lessons are highly personalized, and cover recent events in the news - none of which you will find with Duolingo.

Lydia has been helping our 10-year-old to progress to the next level of Portuguese in her school. Since she started her lessons 2 months ago, our daughter has improved significantly; she has a much better grasp of the language and she's enthusiastic about learning. Lydia works diligently to provide lessons which are instructional, timely and take into my account my learning style and ability.

Desde 2019 que a minha filha Matilde pratica o inglês com a professora Lydia, e vem sempre contente de cada aula. A Lydia usa vários métodos de ensino, adequados ao nível e idade, e sempre muito apelativos - jogos, canções, e o uso de materiais audiovisuais.

Para além dos métodos de ensino, a Matilde gosta muito do conteúdo. A Lydia, cuja língua materna é o inglês britânico, trás sempre um pouco da história do Reino Unido para as aulas, assim a Matilde aprende inglês mas também sempre algo novo sobre a cultura britânica.

Durante a pandemia, a Lydia continuou as aulas em formato online também com grande sucesso e com recurso a vários instrumentos - desde video-conferência à escrita de texto direto num documento partilhado online, que achei muito eficaz.

Depois de algumas experiências a aprender Inglês foi com a Lydia que encontrei o método e apoio adequado às minhas necessidades. A experiência da Lydia em ensino, o facto de ser nativa e também fluente em português facilita a comunicação e dinâmica das aulas. Eu tenho aulas com a Lydia desde Octubro de 2015.

Procurava aulas particulares, no entanto com métodos não tradicionais de ensino. O método das aulas da professora Lydia se encaixaram na minha demanda porque se iniciou com a revisão de erros que cometia na escrita e na conversação. Nesse caso ela me explicava as regras gramaticais de forma direta, simples e precisa o que facilitou o entendimento de regras que até então eu não conseguia usar e que achava difíceis de empregar no dia a dia.

Toda vez que termino uma aula já fico ansioso pela próxima. Por isso recomendei o trabalho dela a vários amigos que começaram a estudar com a professora Lydia e assim como eu, sentiram-se muito confortáveis e tiveram avanços consideráveis no aprendizado da língua Inglesa.
