Sobre Patrícia
I am a Portuguese as a Foreign Language teacher with a Master’s degree in the field, and I have a deep interest in the Portuguese language, literature, and intercultural exchange.
Throughout my career, I have developed an attentive, human, and rigorous approach to teaching, especially when working with adult learners. I value professionalism, clarity, and empathy, and I aim to make each student feel seriously and respectfully supported throughout their learning journey.
For me, teaching Portuguese is also about building bridges, fostering confidence, and helping each learner find their own voice in a new language.

In my lessons, I aim to adapt to each student, their pace, their difficulties, and their goals. I like to teach in a practical, clear, and encouraging way, creating a calm environment where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and learning.
I teach European Portuguese and favour a communicative approach, while also paying close attention to grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and writing.
I have training in Portuguese as a Foreign Language and especially enjoy working with adults from different backgrounds and cultures.
My lessons are mainly aimed at those who want to learn Portuguese in order to live, work, or communicate with greater confidence in Portugal.
