Passionate and patient teacher. Good classes!

I’ve had a great experience learning Portuguese with Michele. She makes lessons enjoyable and easy to follow, and is always patient and encouraging. I’ve improved a lot, especially with speaking and understanding conversations.

I started learning Portuguese as a complete beginner and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Michele is amazing, she explains things very clearly and always makes lessons engaging and very interesting. She is also a very positive and kind person, which creates a great atmosphere during the classes that makes you feel confident practicing the language. I've already noticed great progress and truly enjoy the classes. I highly recommend Michele to anyone who wants to learn Brazilian Portuguese!! Thank you Michele ️

Michele has been working with me for a few months now. First, she tries hard to accomodate my touch schedule. If I miss a class, she's never a stickler for it. She will adapt the lessons to your style. My Portuguese has substantially improved in the past few months, because of the work we have been doing together

Love Michele. She's awesome. She's been very adaptable teacher, really shape shifting the lessons to match the learners preference and learning style. It's been very helpful for me and I've seen very solid linear growth in my Portuguese ability.

I’ve had Michele as my teacher for some months now. The lessons are well-organized, with clear explanations and useful practice. Michele has a relaxed style and teaches in a fun, engaging way that makes the material stick without feeling forced :) Patient and answers questions thoroughly. Solid teaching — I recommend Michele!

**Michele taught me Portuguese the four months leading up to visiting my love in Florianopólis in October. It wasn't much time, but Michele adapted her lessons to travel essentials, focusing on everyday conversation and popular culture. Her classes were accessible and fun, with a mix of conversation, practicing more difficult phonemes, sharing and discussing Portuguese images and videos, homework review, and textbook teaching. She ends every class with the question: "Did you enjoy the class?", and we refined the lesson until we found the ideal one to prepare for my first trip. Even with so little time, we progressed a lot, and afterwards, I had an incredible trip. Many people complimented my pronunciation as a first-time speaker (although I'm still improving my comprehension -- Brazilians can speak very fast! ). I've scheduled more lessons, to get ready for my second trip. I highly recommend her!**

Michele is an amazing teacher! You will learn not only language but get to know useful and also fun facts about Brazil and its culture. Sometimes during classes we had a looong conversation about Brazilians. It was a great pleasure to meet her and learn the language from a person who is so passionate about it! Hope one day I will be back either in Brazil or motivate myself to continue with Brazilian Portuguese. Muito obrigada!

Michele is an absolutely wonderful Portuguese teacher! She is always so cheerful and her positive energy makes every lesson a joy. Her supporting materials are fantastic, helping to clarify grammar and vocabulary in a really effective way. Michele is incredibly patient, which is perfect for a beginner, and she's always willing to go over things until they click. Plus, her deep knowledge of Brazil culture makes the lessons so much more engaging. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn Brazilian Portuguese!

I have been a student of Michele for 8 months now. She has been so helpful in teaching me Brazilian Portuguese. She is super knowledgeable about not only Portuguese grammar, but also English grammar (sometimes more than me!). Her approach is not rigid. She adapts to your learning style and preferences. If you want disciplined study sessions, she'll do that. If you want to just engage in dialogue and diagnose your mistakes, she'll do that. If you want to watch videos in slow motion and turn it into learning exercises, she'll do that. And she always keeps track of where you left off from last session and also what your special requests, requirements, and preferences are. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, she is the nicest, most energetic, and friendly person ever. She lights up the room. When you don't have energy, she has enough for both of you, and keepts things lively. I highly recommend Michele for teaching Brazilian Portuguese. I wouldn't want anyone else! Omid G.
