Sobre Vincent
Hey, I'm Vincent, I come from Germany and have been in contact with English since my early childhood. I had English as a school subject throughout my 12 years of schooling and chose it as an advanced course in my Abitur (German university entrance qualification). As part of the advanced English course, I completed the Cambridge Certificate, which is issued by the university of the same name as an internationally recognised language certificate. I passed my English A-level exam with 11 points. After graduating from high school, I went abroad, where I further improved my English skills in a practical setting. This year, while studying at university, I passed both the DAAD language test and the Oxford Online Placement Test with a GER C1 level, certifying my advanced and expert language skills. I am currently spending a semester abroad in Rio de Janeiro and would like to pass on my knowledge of the English language to you!

English is a global language and an indispensable tool in a globalised world. Whether at school, at work or on holiday, we encounter the language everywhere in our everyday lives. It is spoken by around 1.5 billion people, and I can help you become one of them! In my lessons, we will focus intensively on reading, listening and speaking English. I will start by sending you a video from an English-language news channel, which you will summarise for me in a short, practical text. This will help you develop a practical and varied vocabulary. I will also give you a feel for fluent sentence structure by regularly testing your knowledge of grammatical structures. Last but not least, I consider intensive and enjoyable vocabulary training to be the key to teaching the English language. We will mainly work with vokabel.org, which I have been using regularly for several years and which has helped me to build up a broad vocabulary. I want to use these methods and many more to design my lessons for you and, above all, to show you a fun and successful way to learn the language.
